Block Data Input Format: fixed 8-bit frame length, with 7-bit codeword plus, LSB as embedded frame synchronization bit; 1, 2 or 3 most significant bits allocated as check bits, depending upon selected code.
Bit Clock Input: typically, 2kHz, TTL level; positive edges of CLK & BLOCK CODE DATA coincident.
Output PCM Data serial: TTL level
Output PCM Data Format: fixed 8-bit frame, with 3 most significant bits zero, 4 message bits (bit 4 is most significant data bit) and bit 0 (LSB) is embedded frame synchronization bit.
