Grooving Tools are used with Atterberg Limits Testing to determine when a soil’s water content is at the point when the soil changes from a liquid to a plastic state.
Grooving Tools are used with a Liquid Limit Machine to determine the liquid limits of the fine-grained portion of a soil sample.
