The readout of the integrating wheel is by vernier as is the readout on the graduate arm (tracing bar). The box contains a magnifying glass (for reading the verniers) and a metal strip with a pin at one end and two drill holes marked 9.95 square inch (at about 48 mm from the pin) and 19.90 square inch (at about 67 mm from pin) and a third unlabelled one (at about 77 mm from pin). This bar could be used to trace three circles for calibration purposes.
The serial number is engraved on the integrating carriage and on the radius bar (to pole/pin).
