Slump Test Apparatus
The Slump Test Apparatus is filled with freshly mixed concrete and tamped with a tamping rod in three or four layers. The top of the concrete is leveled off with the top of the slump cone, the cone is lifted vertically up and the slump of the sample is immediately measured.
Consisting of:
(i) a slump cone (made of sheet steel suitably protected against corrosion) 100 mm dia at the top, 200 mm dia at the bottom and 300 mm high with two cleats and lifting handle
(ii) A base plate with clamping arrangement for the slump cone and a swivel handle
(iii) A tamping rod 16mm dia and 60 cm long with one end rounded and graduated from 0 to 15 cm in 0.5 cm spacings to measure the slump
