Multi-Pressure Distillation System-Low energy consuming- which produces high grade ethanol (up to 96%) following a distillation process of fermented broth of 8% (w/w) initial ethanol concentration. It meet the following specifications:
Core components: Still tank/pot (SUS304/316L) with a side quick open manhole, Helmet (SUS304/316L, ellipse or round type), Gin Basket (red copper), Distilling Column (SUS304/316L; tower’s Diameter & layers/trays’ number, design and spacing: As per the manufacturer, but ensure highest separation efficiency), Dephlegmator (SUS304/316L), Condenser (water-cooled, SUS304/316L), Pipe system (SUS316L, follow pipe color code standards), three ways to promote reflux (Reflux Drum: to hold the condensed vapor from the top of the column so that liquid can be recycled back to the column), Analyzer and Rectifier.
Control System: Semi-automatic
Heating method: hot water (from steam generator). An extra low boiling reboiler is a component of this distillation system.
Still pot Capacity: to be proposed by the manufacturer taking into account constraints of the building height (utile height= 3.5m).
Still pot is a jacketed tank (see juice treatment tanks) and has an incorporated low power consumption mixer/agitator with a double impeller (agitator motor to be energy efficient) and connected a positive displacement pump (with motor, impeller, gaskets, valves) for the transfer of stillage to the stillage tank. All is heat resistant.
Still pot heating to be achieved by direct steam injection system using an internal modulation type as for the juice treatment tanks.
Strict leakage and tank pressure test, all welds is neat/without defect with smooth surface. Certifications (proof) of these tests to be provided.
Energy conservation and low pollution.
Cooling system: Water-cooling system (using raw water).
CIP cleaners with their core components.
Column spare bubble caps to be provided.
Fly and insect resistant sanitary breathing cover.
Thermometer, pressure and level gauges are required.
