Sulphuric acid tank used for the recycling of yeast after the process of fermentation is completed (Melle-Boinot Process: Yeast recycling at pH=2-2.5 [H2SO4: 0.01M] for 1-2hrs). It meet the following general specifications:
Material: HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) Non-metal Tank due to high corrosive property of sulphuric acid, tank to hold acid liquid (pH=2-2.5) Capacity: ±100 litters
Number of layers: >3
Core components: vertical mixer/agitator (motor/power: as per the manufacturer, rpm: as per the manufacturer; but low power consumption and gentle stirring are required, vertical displacement pump with motor and all its acid resistant accessories for solution transfer directly to the fermenter.
Humanized structure design and easy to operate.
Provided with an in-tank feed line to be connected to an outside water line, useful in preparation processes.
Liquid level transmitter or a Level glass tube required.
A pH meter which meets the following specifications:

A pH=7.00 calibration solution
Two (2) cleaning solutions

Measuring range: pH:0.0 to 14.0 (±0.1)
An incorporated Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) function

Sampling cock at the base of the tank to allow for various measurements such as pH
This tank is provided a tank drain valve useful when the tank needs to be emptied for new solution makeup and cleaning of the tank bottom.
